Martinez Salinas Mexican Garden

About Martinez Salinas Mexican Garden

Bougainvillea against a warm wall, agave holding its shape in full sun, a courtyard that stays alive on very little water: the valley’s climate is generous to that kind of garden. Martinez Salinas Mexican Garden brings the sensibility into the work, with lawn mowing and edging where there is lawn, shrub and hedge shaping, bed weeding, planting beds kept clearly defined, and cleanup at the finish. Salinas rarely freezes and rarely bakes, which means color can carry through nearly all twelve months if the plants are chosen and tended for it. Winter rain feeds the garden and summer irrigation steadies it. A yard can be a room with walls of leaf and flower, and that is a good thing to build.
