About Complete Landscaping and Gardening

In late February the almond orchards around Salida let go all at once, and for a week the flat valley air drifts with white petals like weather of its own. Complete Landscaping and Gardening tends the yards that sit among those blocks just off Highway 99 — mowing, edging, shaping beds, clearing what the wind leaves behind. There is a satisfaction in a clean line of turf against a Salida sidewalk, sprinklers ticking away into the long valley evening. From Modesto up to Ripon, it is the same patient trade: green kept green under a wide Central Valley sky. Every finished lawn is a small orchard row of its own — ordered, tended, ready to bloom.
