About Zuniga Gardening Service

Evenings near Southside Park the sprinklers come on all at once, the pond goes flat and copper, and the block smells like wet concrete and roses. Zuniga Gardening Service keeps the yards around here on a weekly rhythm — mowing, edging, trimming, weeding the beds and tidying the plantings so nothing turns rangy. Gardening in this valley is a running conversation with heat: shade the roots, raise the blade in summer, cut back hard once the cool arrives. There is genuine pleasure in leaving a small garden yard exactly right, every leaf off the path, the grass level beneath the fruit trees. Then come back in seven days and do it all again.
