About Ramos and Son's Lanscaping Tree Service, Inc

The groves that gave Citrus Heights its name are mostly gone, but the valley oaks along Arcade Creek stayed, and so did the local habit of shading a house properly. Ramos and Son's Lanscaping Tree Service, Inc works those streets from Sylvan Corners out toward the county line, pruning oaks in the dormant months, trimming back whatever leans over a roof, and taking down the tree that a long summer finished off. Sacramento winters bring tule fog and the wet storms that pull limbs loose, and the crew turns up afterward to clear the ground. An oak pruned right holds its canopy wide and keeps the house beneath it cool through a hundred-degree July. That shade is the whole reward.
