About Sylvester Landscaping

On the rare clear autumn days when the wind scrubs the valley air, you can stand in a Rosedale yard and see the Sierra Nevada floating along the eastern horizon. Sylvester Landscaping does its best work in that kind of light — October afternoons, the summer's fierceness gone, lawns recovering their deep color. This is the season for setting yards right: trimming back what the heat overgrew, feeding the turf before the cool months, cutting edges so clean they look drawn with a ruler. A Rosedale lawn brought through summer and tuned up in fall will hold its green while half the country goes brown, and Sylvester takes real pleasure in that.
