Mike's Lawn Care

About Mike's Lawn Care

Riverside's Wood Streets hold their bungalows close together, and the lawns there are small, square and known by heart. Mike's Lawn Care runs those yards on a repeating rhythm — cut, edge, trim, blow clean — so the grass never gets ahead of anyone. Late afternoon is the good hour on that side of town, when the pepper trees throw long shadows across the strip between sidewalk and curb and the mower leaves its pale stripes behind. A lawn kept this way says something true about a house: someone is home, someone is paying attention. That is the whole of the work, week after week, one address at a time.
