209 Lawns

About 209 Lawns

209 is the number this stretch of the San Joaquin Valley answers to, and 209 Lawns wears it like a home address. From Ripon, where Highway 99 hums past the almond orchards, the crew runs mowing routes through the deep green of valley summer. The grass here grows like it means it — fed by long sun and moving water — and keeping it in line takes a weekly hand. Stripes get laid straight, edges get walked, sidewalks get blown clean. It is the look of a valley town doing well, one lawn at a time.
