Willy's Tree Service

About Willy's Tree Service

On a winter morning in Richmond's flatland the sycamores around Nicholl Park stand bare, and every crossing branch and old stub is right there to see. Willy's Tree Service takes that season for structural pruning — cuts placed where a tree can close them, the canopy opened so light and air reach through, the deadwood down before it can fall on its own. In the warm months the work turns to clearance: branches off rooflines, driveways and sidewalks along the residential blocks, and thinning the crowns that press against a house. A removal is handled piece by piece on lots where there is no room for anything else, and the lot is left with space to walk through. After a storm blows in off the bay the cleanup is the job — limbs carried out, brush run through the chipper, nothing waiting at the curb for a second trip.
