Terrapetra Gardens

About Terrapetra Gardens

Out at the north end, Wildcat Creek slides through the marsh grass and an egret stands motionless in the shallows while traffic hums somewhere behind it. Terrapetra Gardens brings that same unhurried attention to Richmond yards — mowing, edging, trimming, weeding the beds back to their lines and carrying off what has been cut. Winter is when this ground wants working: soft soil, cool mornings, everything growing at once. A lawn kept level, with the border held tight against the path, is what lets the rest of a garden read clearly. North Richmond, San Pablo and El Cerrito all sit on the route.
