About Maldonado Landscaping

Spring on the long slope at Hilltop is short and green and gone quickly; by May the hills above the freeway have gone the color of straw while the watered lawns below hold their color. Maldonado Landscaping keeps those yards mowed, edged and trimmed, with shrubs kept in bounds and the cuttings carried off. There is a particular pleasure in the first cut of the season, when the mower rides high and the grass comes off thick and sweet. Richmond sits where the Bay wind and the inland heat meet, so a lawn can go from soft to stubborn in a fortnight, and a set schedule is what stays ahead of it. The rounds carry north into San Pablo, Pinole and Hercules.
