About Julian Tree Care

Point Richmond wakes under bay fog, and by afternoon the wind is up off the water with every cypress and pine on the hill leaning east with it. Julian Tree Care works those streets above the shoreline, pruning wind-shaped crowns so they carry a gust instead of catching it and thinning what has grown heavy and one-sided over the years. On the tight lots between the hill and the water, a removal goes down in small pieces rigged over rooftops and fences, and the trunk goes out in rounds the same afternoon. Winter storms come ashore wet and hard, and the calls follow — a limb across the driveway, a fence pinned under a canopy, green scattered from curb to porch. The satisfaction is in the after: a yard cleared to bare ground, a crown cut clean, and bay light reaching the grass again.
