About Benavidez Landscaping

Richmond turns green in December, not May — the first real rains come off San Pablo Bay and Wildcat Canyon goes from straw to velvet almost overnight. Benavidez Landscaping works with that clock, timing the cuts to the wet months when lawns grow fast and the mower has to keep up. Mowing, edging, trimming and weed pulling, plus the cleanups that get soggy leaves off a lawn before they mat it flat. There is real satisfaction in the winter round: cool air, a ridge going emerald above the rooftops, and a yard left tidy while the rain is still deciding whether to come back. Come the dry stretch, the same care shifts to keeping the grass mown at a height that holds its color.
