About Melgarejo Landscaping

South of the tracks the lots run wide and the wind carries a fine dust off the open ground toward Bloomington. Melgarejo Landscaping keeps yards down here from surrendering to it — mowing, edging, trimming, and pulling the weeds and blown-in debris that pile against a fence. Evening is the best hour on this side of town, when the low sun turns the mountains rose-colored and every blade of a freshly cut lawn stands up in the light. Regular visits beat heroic ones; a yard tended each week never has a bad month. What the crew leaves behind is plain enough — even grass, sharp borders, and a lot that looks like somebody claimed it.
