Mariano's Landscape

About Mariano's Landscape

July here means starting at six, because by eleven the shade has shrunk to nothing and the crape myrtles along the old streets are the only things in town enjoying the heat. Mariano's Landscape runs its routes on that clock — mowing while the grass is still cool, edging walks and drives, cutting back what the heat pushed sideways, and hauling the clippings off before the day turns serious. Lawns in this climate live or die on cut height and honest watering, and both are decisions somebody has to make every single week. The reward comes at dusk, when the yard has held its color all day and the sprinklers finally tick on. Clean lines, deep green, nothing overgrown at the fence line.
