About Quintero's Gardening and More

Saturday morning on the Fair Oaks side of Redwood City: garage doors up, lemon trees leaning over fences, somebody's radio playing two houses down. Quintero's Gardening and More moves through blocks like these — mowing, edging, weed control, feeding the turf, cutting hedges and shrubs back into shape, raking the beds and carrying the green waste off. Front yards here are small, which means nothing hides; the strip between sidewalk and curb gets the same attention as the middle of the lawn. Then the mower goes back on the truck and the street smells like cut grass for an hour. That hour is the point.
