About Eloy's Gardening Service

The Mount Carmel streets keep their old magnolias, and in May the blossoms come down heavy and brown on whatever is underneath. Eloy's Gardening Service looks after the lawns in that shade — mowing, edging, trimming around trunks and low walls, hedge and shrub work, weed pulling, fertilizing, and raking out everything the trees let go. Shaded turf asks for patience and a lighter hand, and it shows the difference when it gets one. There is something satisfying about an older front yard that still looks tended, right down to the strip along the curb. Working through Redwood City, Atherton, Menlo Park and San Carlos.
