AD Garden

About AD Garden

Morning over the Redwood Shores lagoons arrives flat and silver — gulls first, walkers second, the water still holding last night's cool. AD Garden likes to be underway by then, while the marine layer is thinning and the grass is soft enough to cut clean. The work is steady and unglamorous: mowing, edging, string trimming, hedge shaping, weed pulling, fertilizing, and hauling the clippings out. By the time the sun clears the East Bay hills, a lawn that was shaggy at seven reads like a pressed shirt. Yards from Redwood Shores through Redwood City proper and on to San Carlos, Belmont and Menlo Park.
