About Western Star Tree Company

When the winter southerlies come off the Pacific and lean on the ridges above Redway, the trees answer all night — and in the morning, Western Star Tree Company goes to work. Storm limbs come down, hazard branches come off, crowded canopies get thinned so the next blow passes through instead of taking hold. In the calm months the work turns quieter: pruning for shape, clearing around homes, keeping yards open under Humboldt's tall timber. Evenings here end with actual stars, sharp over the dark ridgeline. The job, at its heart, is helping people live comfortably among big trees — and this is big-tree country.
