Northern Valley Tree Care

About Northern Valley Tree Care

Redding summers come in heavy and bright, and by ten in the morning shade is not a luxury — it is the difference between a comfortable house and a hot one. Northern Valley Tree Care works the neighborhoods along the Sacramento River, pruning the valley oaks and ponderosas that hold that shade and thinning crowns so the north wind moves through them instead of against them. A removal is often about what heat and years have already decided — a brittle tree, a leaning gray pine over a roof, taken down a section at a time and carried out. Winter systems roll in off the Trinity side and put limbs across drives and fences, and cleanup runs until the wood is gone and the ground is swept to bare grass. The best afternoons end with a crown cut back to an even line and river light coming through exactly where it was meant to.
