About CMC Landscaping LLC

October along the Sacramento River arm turns the cottonwoods to sheets of gold, and the lawns beneath them go soft and slow just as the heat finally lets go. CMC Landscaping LLC works that turn — mowing, edging, running the string trimmer down the fence lines, and hauling off the leaf fall before it mats flat over the grass. Autumn in Shasta Lake is short and generous, the kindest stretch of the year for a lawn, and it rewards anyone paying attention. Grass cut at the right height in October carries its color deep into the rainy months. That is the whole ambition here: green in December, under a gray sky, with the river running high a mile away.
