About Mariposa Landscape & Tree Service Inc.

Spring in Rancho Santa Fe arrives on small wings — swallowtails and painted ladies drifting over garden walls along the bridle trails — and Mariposa Landscape & Tree Service does its work in that same easy weather. Crews prune canopies so the light falls where it should, then mow and edge the lawns beneath and haul away what the wind left behind. There is a particular pleasure in stepping back from a freshly shaped tree and a freshly striped lawn and seeing the two agree with each other. From the horse-country lanes to the gardens tucked behind them, the aim is to help a place grow the way it wants to. When the pruning is done and the clippings are gone, what remains is shade, green, and quiet.
