About Merchant Landscape Services

January mornings here can be startling: forty degrees at seven, the air scrubbed clean, an old citrus tree in a back corner still holding fruit as though it never got word about winter. Merchant Landscape Services works those cool months as hard as the warm ones, mowing on a longer interval, trimming hedges and shrubs, weeding, clearing beds and lifting the skirts of the trees so light can reach underneath. Along Archibald and the streets running off it, a yard tended in winter is a yard that begins March already ahead. Cold hands, steam off the coffee, a finished lawn by mid-morning. It is a good way to spend a bright, sharp day.
