Ecology Turf

About Ecology Turf

Under a good deal of Rancho Cucamonga sits old vineyard ground, alluvial and stony and quick to drain, and grass planted on it lives or dies by what happens below the surface. Ecology Turf works down there: aeration, dethatching, overseeding, feeding, and mowing at a height that shades the soil instead of scalping it. Spring is the season for that, while the nights are still cool and roots will chase depth if you give them a reason to. Above ground the payoff is plain, a stand of turf that holds even color into July and takes a footprint without bruising. Weeds, edges and trimming get their share of attention too, because one strong lawn lifts the look of an entire street.
