Rafael Mendoza Maintenance

About Rafael Mendoza Maintenance

Thursdays run out toward the Barona side, where the road drops into a valley of oaks and the air stays cool an hour longer than it does in town. Rafael Mendoza Maintenance keeps lawns on rounds like that — cutting, edging, string trimming, weeding beds, clearing the clippings before moving on to the next stop. Ramona's grass takes its orders from the rain, hurried through the green months and slow and thirsty by late summer, so a route that repeats week to week is how a yard stays ahead of it. The mark of the work is continuity: the same drawn lines this visit as last. Nothing dramatic, just a place that never looks let go.
