About Estrada Landscape Inc.

Some mornings the marine layer climbs the canyons off the coast and stalls at Ramona's rim, so the town wakes gray and the ridgelines float. Estrada Landscape Inc. is already out in it — mowing, edging, trimming, blowing walks clear before the sun burns the gray off around ten. The properties run from neighborhood streets in town out along the road toward Wildcat Canyon, and every one has its own grass and its own slope. The job is repetition done attentively: same route, sharper blade, straighter line. By afternoon the lawns are cut, the driveways are clean, and the day belongs to whoever lives there.
