About California NatureScaping

Drive down to Dos Picos and the oaks close over the road like a held breath, with manzanita and buckwheat crowding the slope behind them. California NatureScaping keeps lawns in that setting — cut, edged, trimmed and raked clean — so the tended ground and the wild ground sit comfortably beside each other. Ramona sits high enough that the year has real chapters: greening in January, flowering in March, gone tawny by June. A lawn kept through all of that asks for rhythm more than force. The finish is plain and it is the whole ambition, even turf and drawn borders against a hillside that will never be either.
