By late August the hills toward Sycamore Canyon and Goodan Ranch have gone the color of straw, and a mowed lawn stands against them like a lit window. TRM Turf & Hardscapes keeps those lawns going with mowing, edging, string trimming and a blow-down of the walks and drives at the end of every visit. Late summer wants a taller cut and a lighter hand, since turf holds its own moisture better when it is left a little length. Then the first real rain comes through in November and the entire valley answers at once.
