About Hernandez Groupp

Down at the south end of Poway, near Sabre Springs, the freeway ramps start filling before six and the neighborhoods empty out for the day. Hernandez Groupp is often already on a lawn by then, mowing while the pavement is still cool and the sprinklers have just shut off. Grass cut in that early window sits better through the heat that follows, and the crew is finished before most doors open again. Edges get run along the walk, the trimmer takes the corners a mower cannot reach, and the clippings go with the truck. Coming home to a lawn that was untouched at dawn and is squared away by afternoon feels a little like a favor.
