About Duran Landscape & Design

At dusk the shoulder of Iron Mountain goes flat and violet against the last light off Highway 67, and the day's heat finally leaves the valley floor. Duran Landscape & Design works the lawns spread below it, out where lots run wide and the grass has real distance to cover. A big yard rewards a plan — where the passes start, which way the last one runs, how the border gets held against the decomposed granite. Done that way, a mow leaves a lawn that reads all of a piece, edges tight, nothing scattered on the drive. It is the kind of result you notice from the street without knowing quite why.
