Mendez Lawn Service

About Mendez Lawn Service

The old depot that houses Porterville's historical museum holds heat in its brick by noon, and the town moves slower for a couple of hours around it. That is usually when Mendez Lawn Service is finishing the day's yards — mowing done, edges run, trimmer work taken around every post and corner. Then the blower, always, so the walks and the drive come out clean and the cut reads sharp from the curb. There is something worth being proud of in a lawn that looks looked-after in the middle of a valley summer. One street at a time, that is what the route adds up to.
