About Ceballos Real Land Service

The Friant-Kern Canal runs its long straight line down the east side of the valley, and everything green here — the groves, the fields, the front lawns of Porterville — traces back to water arriving on purpose. Ceballos Real Land Service works the last small step of that chain: keeping turf cut, edged and trimmed so the water going onto it is not wasted on a neglected yard. Evening service in summer means working as the light goes gold over the flat ground west of town and the day finally loosens its grip. Lots that have gotten away from an owner get knocked back down and hauled clean, and then kept that way on a set return. It is honest, repeatable work on the ground people actually stand on.
