The Planted Garden

About The Planted Garden

Pomona took its name from the goddess of orchards and gardens, and the older properties out around the Palomares adobe still carry that idea in their bones, with beds and roses and fruit trees and something always coming into flower. The Planted Garden works in that spirit, keeping beds weeded and turned, shrubs shaped, borders defined, and the lawn mowed and edged around them. Gardens here want a light and frequent hand rather than one big push: a little cutting back, a little clearing, every visit. The reward is a yard that looks composed in a climate where almost every month is a growing month. Planting beds and green lawn, tended together.
