About Medina’s Gardening and landscaping

For a few weeks in late spring, Pomona turns purple as the jacarandas let go over Second Street and the older downtown blocks, leaving a soft mess on every sidewalk. Medina's Gardening and landscaping sweeps through it and keeps going: mowing, edging, trimming hedges back to a line, weeding beds, hauling off what falls. There is real pleasure in a lawn cut evenly on a warm afternoon, the border parted from the concrete, the driveway blown clear. Yards here take sun almost every day of the year, which means they want a hand nearly as often. That steady hand is the whole offer.
