Old cypress windbreaks on the surrounding ranchland stand dark and wind-shaped against that pale sky. Suzi Katz Garden Design brings a designer's eye to the lawns and gardens of Point Reyes Station, mowing, edging and caring for the turf that frames each planting. In this misty light color glows, and a clean green lawn sets off flowers and native shrubs the way a mat sets off a painting.
