About Pacific Slope Tree Cooperative Inc.

Black Mountain rises on the town's eastern side, its grassy flanks turning lion-colored by late summer while the coast beyond stays wrapped in fog. The dry season has its own beauty here: sun-bleached pastures, oaks throwing hard black shade at noon, and wind combing the hills into long ripples. Pacific Slope Tree Cooperative Inc. mows and trims home lawns in Point Reyes Station so they stay a fresh contrast to all that gold. Against the tan hillsides, a short-cut, neatly finished lawn stands out like a green pool. It is a satisfying sight at the end of a long, bright day, when the wind finally drops and the mountain glows.
