Global Syn-Turf

About Global Syn-Turf

By the third week of July the hills out past Callippe have gone the color of a paper bag, the afternoon sits near a hundred, and every hose in town is doing what it can. Global Syn-Turf answers that stretch of the calendar differently, with synthetic turf that stays green through the whole dry run and asks nothing of a sprinkler. Getting it right is mostly what happens underneath: grading, a compacted base that drains when the winter storms finally arrive, seams that disappear, infill brushed in so the blades stand up. Yards, pet runs, play areas, poolside strips and small putting greens all take a slightly different build. The payoff is a patch of green in August that looks the way lawns look in April.
