Serna’s Home service and Landscaping

About Serna’s Home service and Landscaping

Late in a Pittsburg afternoon the delta breeze comes up off New York Slough and moves inland through Old Town, and every lawn on the block seems to exhale at once. Serna's Home service and Landscaping works that hour on purpose — mowing while the light goes long over the water, then edging the walk until the line between grass and concrete is one clean stroke you could follow with a fingertip. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass of the trimmer along a fence, in the raked pile hauled off, in stepping back from a yard that finally looks like someone loves it. Summers here run hot and bright and the grass asks for a steady hand; the wet months soften everything and leave the beds needing a shape again. From the waterfront streets to the newer blocks stretching east, this is landscaping and lawn care done at the pace of the neighborhood it serves. The work is simple to name and hard to fake: green, level, trimmed, and tidy at the curb.
