Snowmelt leaves Pine Mountain Club a little disheveled every spring — flattened grass, drifts of pine needles, branches down along the fence lines. Nikki's Back 2 Pretty is the remedy the name promises: cleanups that rake, haul, trim, and tidy until a mountain lot looks loved again. Through the short, sweet growing season the mowing and edging keep pace, and by the time the black oaks turn in October the yards are buttoned up for winter. The village sits in a high bowl of forest at five thousand feet, and a well-kept yard here feels like part of the woods rather than a fight with them. Pretty, in other words — brought back on schedule.
