About PJ Gardening Service
Pike sits high on a forested ridge in Sierra County, where ponderosa pines and cedars crowd close and the canyons of the Yuba River fall away below. PJ Gardening Service brings lawn and garden care to this mountain community, where summer is short, bright and precious. On a July morning the air smells of warm pine sap, the light is sharp and clear, and a patch of mown grass around a cabin looks like a welcome mat laid out in the woods. Mowing, trimming and tidying through the warm months let a ridge-top home enjoy every bit of its brief summer.
