High Dessert Lawn Painting

About High Dessert Lawn Painting

By July the sun over the mesa has pulled the color out of nearly everything, and a lawn that fought its way through June goes the same tan as the ground it sits on. High Dessert Lawn Painting brings the green back — turf colorant sprayed evenly across dormant, thinned or drought-worn grass until a yard reads whole again from the street. It is a light touch: mask the walks, work the sprayer in overlapping passes, feather the edges so nothing looks like a line somebody drew. Mowing and lawn upkeep come with it, because color sits best on grass that has been cut and cleaned up first. The reveal is the good moment — a deep green rectangle set against a tan desert block, sharp at every border.
