Lawn Love

About Lawn Love

When winter rain finally reaches the Perris Valley it tends to come all at once, and a week later the Bernasconi Hills go improbably green with poppy and lupine. Lawn Love works that season for everything it is worth, feeding lawns while the ground is still soft, mowing on a tighter cadence, and pulling the weeds that show up uninvited after every storm. Spring here is short and bright, so edges stay crisp and beds stay clean well before summer arrives to test the whole thing. There is a plain pleasure in handing a yard back looking rested: cut even, borders defined, walks swept. The work reaches across Perris and out toward Nuevo, Lakeview and Moreno Valley.
