For a few weeks in March the hills around Perris turn briefly extravagant, wildflowers spilling orange and blue down the slopes before the heat calls the whole thing off. E&L Landscaping takes the longer view of color: a lawn mowed on rhythm, fed, edged and kept clear of weeds will still be green in July, when the countryside has gone entirely to tan.
