Prada's Landcare

About Prada's Landcare

Evening in Hastings Ranch smells like camphor and cut grass, and the sprinklers come on in a staggered chorus up and down the street. Prada's Landcare works the long light at the end of a summer day, finishing the trimming while the heat lets go of the pavement. A lawn cut in the cool hour keeps its color better, and the edge along a curved driveway is worth taking slow. Leaves get cleared from under the shrubs, weeds pulled from the strip by the mailbox, the beds tidied where the sun has bleached them. The route runs through Pasadena and east toward the foothill towns.
