About Gregory Landscape Designs

The old concrete bridge on Colorado Street carries its arches across the canyon on curves somebody drew long before anyone poured a footing. Gregory Landscape Designs begins the same way — the plan first, then the yard built to it: grading and drainage, planting design, dry creek beds and stone, patios and paths, lighting and irrigation laid where they belong. Pasadena lots come in every shape the last century could invent, and each one gives up its obvious answer once you have stood in it at three in the afternoon. Drawings get revised; the ground tells the truth. What gets built should still make sense in ten years, when the trees have reached the size the plan imagined.
