Montes Landscaping

About Montes Landscaping

Paramount was hay country once — dealers weighed and sold it here back when the town was still Hynes and Clearwater — and there is something fitting about a landscaping crew keeping green things growing in a city built on them. Montes Landscaping runs its routes between the Los Angeles River channel on the west side and the busy grid of the city's core, cutting, edging, and shaping yards that hold their color straight through the mild winters. The work rewards consistency: the same lawns, the same weeks, slowly compounding into blocks that look cared for. A clean fence line here, a leveled patch of sod there — the city gets a little greener one address at a time. Montes covers Paramount and reaches into Compton, Lynwood, and Downey.
