About JYL CHAVEZ LANDSCAPING

Bermuda grass sleeps all winter in this valley and then wakes almost overnight in late May, turning from straw to green inside a week of warm nights. JYL Chavez Landscaping meets it there — cutting height set, edges reestablished, trimming caught up before the growth gets ahead of anybody. From then until October it is a race, and the way to win it is simply to keep coming back. Palmdale summers run long, bright and unforgiving, and a lawn that looks good in August was looked after in June. Grass even, borders sharp, the drive left swept.
