About G Young Lawn Services

Palmdale's shade trees are all planted ones — ash, mulberry, sycamore, set in decades back along the older streets — and in late October they let go nearly all at once. G Young Lawn Services works that drop: leaves gathered up, lawns mowed underneath, borders cleaned along the walk. October is the valley's most generous month, warm afternoons and cold nights, the light coming in low and long across the grass. The change is immediate, which makes it satisfying work — a yard buried at nine is open and green by noon. Then the route moves on to the next street.
