About Alfredo Landscaping

Late in August the thunderheads pile up over the San Gabriels around four o'clock, and for an hour the whole valley smells like wet creosote. Alfredo Landscaping works the cooler end of those days — mowing, trimming, edging, carrying the clippings off — while the light goes long and gold across the yards south of Palmdale Boulevard. Heat like this is hard on grass, and the difference between a lawn that survives a desert summer and one that doesn't is mostly somebody showing up on time. Corners get finished by hand where no deck will reach, and the border along the drive comes out true. It is honest work in a place that tests it.
