Big Fence Company

About Big Fence Company

First light lands on the Chino Cone while the streets below are still cool, and that early hour is the best one in Palm Springs to be cutting grass. Big Fence Company works the north-end blocks then — mowing, edging along the concrete, trimming the corners a mower rounds off. By the time the sun clears the Little San Bernardinos and the day turns bright, the clippings are gathered and the walkways are cleared. A desert lawn earns its green, and the crew treats it that way, holding a straight line where turf meets gravel. Lawn care runs out through Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City and the rest of the valley.
