About KNIGHTSCAPERS

In July the only civilized hour is the one before sunrise, when the valley floor has finally cooled to eighty-five and the sky over the Little San Bernardinos is going gray-gold. KNIGHTSCAPERS works that hour on Palm Desert lawns — mowers running early, edges cut, trimming finished, everything blown down and loaded before the heat turns serious. Feeding and weed control ride the seasonal schedule, and the irrigation zones get checked, because a missed head in August is a brown patch by Friday. Cooler months bring easier hours and exactly the same standard. Either way, the yards are done before most of the street is awake.
